Adult German classes - Winter 2018

This academic year, we have opened the first-year  A1 series of adult classes. We use Berliner Platz Neu materials.  we teach in small groups  – not to exceed 8 students.

Location: Corvallis Multicultural Literacy Center • 128 SW 9th St, Corvallis, OR 97333 or Montessori School Corvallis.

 

  • Adult Beginning Class I  (1st year, 1st Term) Teacher: Annette Youngberg
    Sundays Time: 6x/term = Sundays 2.00 – 4.15pm (1/14, 1/28, 2/11, 2/25, 3/11, 3/18)
    Place: Corvallis Montessori School, 2730 NW Greeley Ave.,Corvallis, OR 97330
    Description: For absolute beginners to the German language and culture; meets 6x/term for 2 hours and 15 min; uses Berliner Platz Neu 1 (The student will have completed chapters 1-6 and additional cultural materials by the end of the academic year).

  • Adult Beginning Class II (1st year, Term 2) Teacher: Annette Youngberg
    Fridays Time: 6x/term = Fridays 3.15 – 5.30pm (Jan 12 and 19, Feb 2 and 16, and Mar 2 and 16) Place: Multicultural Literacy Center, Corner of 9th Street and Monroe, Corvallis (March tbd.) Description: For absolute beginners to the German language and culture; meets 6x/term for 2 hours and 15 min; uses Berliner Platz Neu 1 (The student will have completed chapters 1-6 and additional cultural materials by the end of the year).

  • Adult 2nd Year German Class II (2nd term) Teacher: Ludmila Schuster
    Wednesdays Time: 10x/term, 5-6.15pm (Jan. 10- March 14th)
    Place: Multicultural Literacy Center, Corner of 9th Street and Monroe, Corvallis
    Description: For intermediate or advance beginners with previous knowledge of the German language and culture; meets 10x/term for 1 hour and 15 min; uses Berliner Platz Neu 1 (The student will have completed chapters 7-12 and additional cultural materials by the end of the year).
