Private German Lessons
Classroom or Zoom

January 3th  – March 14th (10 weeks)

Private lessons are available to anyone ages 4+ at both beginner and Intermediate levels. These classes are designed individually based on age and experience. They meet once or twice per week for 30 minutes via zoom or in person. In addition to general knowledge and grammar (for older children based on textbooks and workbooks), we will spend Winter Term learning about arctic animals, animals that hibernate, and all things winter.

Tuition: $150/ one meeting weekly for 10 weeks term

Monday Hybrid Class for Intermediate Learners

January 3th  – March 14th Monday, 4:30-5:30pm
via Zoom (weeks 1,5,7,9,11) and in-person (weeks 2,4,6,8,10)

No meeting Week 3: MLK Day – January 17th !!!

Thursday Class for Beginning Learners (ages 6 – 7)

Friday Class for Beginning Learners (ages 11+)

January 7th  – March 12th Friday, 4:15-5:15pm
Zoom only

This class is designed for children transitioning to, or already in, middle school. These students will learn about clothing – including how it is made – and body parts – human and animal. We will focus on reading intermediate level texts and begin looking deeper into indefinite and possessive articles, as well as prepositional phrases. Games, art and group projects are used in addition to books and worksheets to keep students engaged in the learning process.

Saturday Crafting Classes

February 12th and March 12th, 1-2:30pm
In person, in classroom

Crafting meetings are for students ages 5+ at both beginner and Intermediate levels. These meetings serve as an informal gathering to hear and use German language (phrases, vocabulary, sentences), hear German music and have fun by creating a take-home project. Every month brings a new theme that are designed individually based on age and experience. They meet monthly in person and are free, however a donation of $10 per visitor is welcome.

March 12th Crafting Class –
Making Pom Poms

Yarn, Yarn, Yarn. Color, Color, Color. Nothing says spring like bright colors and flower crafts! We will be creating pom poms and turning them into necklaces, flowers, or even little creatures.

February 12th Crafting Class –
Make a Birdhouse

The weather outside is frightful – especially if you are a small bird trying to get through the end of winter. Make their lives, and yours, a little brighter by assembling and painting your own bird house. Please bring a small hammer and wear appropriate clothing for painting!
