Holiday Evergreen Wreath Fund-Raiser

Greet your holiday guests with the most traditional welcome and support our German school at the same time!

Buy a natural wreath with natural pine cones (noble fir, cedar, berried juniper). We add a handmade wired bow, holly, cinnamon, and handmade decorations.

$35 / wreath + Donations welcome!

DSC Holiday Market

Treats, Music, Activities and Booths

Sunday Dec. 4th, 2022, 2-5pm @ Episc. Church Lounge

Join us at any time during the 3-hour fundraising event.

You can bring your children to craft and decorate Holiday ornaments. You can come to practice German, or to just listen to Holiday music, sing Christmas songs or enjoy coffee and cake. You can also buy small hand-made gifts for your family; we will have local artists joining us with their art and we also will offer families of our school to sell their Holiday crafts. You can buy or pick up your Christmas Wreath there as well. Support our school at this fundraiser.


Fairytale Movie & Pizza Evening

Friday December 9th, 6-8pm @ room 7/8 or Lounge

In-Person Session

Let’s join us for the last movie of the year, a German story of Cinderella.

If you just loooove holiday movies, you will love this winter story with Cinderella throwing snowballs at her prince, climbing trees and riding horses.

We will have a pizza and popcorn during the break, talk about the story and learn new vocabulary.

Cost (including Pizza): Suggested donation $10/child


Craft a Holiday Gingerbread House!

Thursday December 15th, 4-6pm,

In-Person Session

If you just loooove holiday crafting, then join us in-person to put together this adorable holiday gingerbread house. We will learn German Christmas songs, craft and enjoy the holiday season together. 

(Parent’s help welcome for children ages 4-5)

Cost (including the materials): $16-25$/child

Monthly Presentations

Please join us every month via Zoom on a Tuesday (usually the second Tuesday) at 6-7pm for a presentation on various topics from German culture, language and research. German and English languages use based on the proficiency of visitors. Contact Ludmila or your teacher for Zoom credentials.

Winter Holiday Season – Traditions and Poetry
