Every War is My War – Ursula’s Story

January Life Speaker
Sunday, January 21st, 3 PM at the STONEYBROOK Clubhouse
(4710 SW Hollyhock Circle Corvallis, OR)

Working for Peace and Healing has been the lifelong goal of Ursula Tabor, a child
survivor of World War II in Nazi Germany. Ursula was born in a small town in Germany in 1935
where her father was mayor. When she was four years old, Hitler invaded Poland, and her life
changed forever.

Barb Callner, Caleb Rosenson, and Barb Clauson produced a documentary, Every War is My
War -Ursula’s Story, based on Ursula’s 2003 dissertation. Please join us for a viewing of the
documentary. After the showing, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion with two of the filmmakers.

Barb Clauson of Corvallis and Barb Callner of Albany, two of the filmmakers, are retired
teachers from the Albany School District, and have been friends for over 30 years. Along with
Ursula Tabor, the two ‘Barbs’ have been members of the Bird Song Poetry group created by
Erika Schoell.
